1.                  ELIGIBILITY: This promotion is open only to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older as of date of entry.  Employees of Procter & Gamble, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.  Void where prohibited by law. 

 

2.                  HERE’S HOW ENTER:

 Beginning 12:00:01 AM ET on 10/22/08, visit www.swashitout.com, follow the onscreen instructions and send an email to swash@devries-pr.com to be entered into the sweepstakes. By entering, you certify that you are 18 years of age or older.

 

By entering, entrant agrees to receive email communications from Tide SWASH.  Please note you may opt-out of receiving future email communications at any time, by sending an email to swash@devries-pr.com, with the word “unsubscribe” in the subject line.

Limit one entry per e-mail address throughout the duration of the promotion.  Entries for each drawing must be received by the deadline indicated in the chart above to be eligible for that drawing and all subsequent drawings.  Entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM ET on 12/5/08 to be eligible for the final drawing.

 

3.                  RANDOM DRAWING: Random drawings will be conducted on or about the dates indicated in the chart above by D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this offer.  Odds of winning in a drawing depend upon the number of eligible entries received by the deadline for that drawing.

 

4.                  PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”): Six (6) prizes, with a total approximate retail value of ($898.00) will be awarded as follows:

 

Drawing #1:  winner will receive an iPod Nano (ARV: $149).
Drawing #2:  winner will receive a $150 gift certificate redeemable at a sponsor-specified restaurant in Lexington, KY (terms and conditions of gift certificate apply).
Drawing #3:  winner will receive a $150 Mod Boutique gift certificate (terms and conditions of gift certificate apply).
Drawing #4:  winner will receive an iPod Nano (ARV: $149).
Drawing #5:  winner will receive a $150 gift certificate redeemable at a sponsor-specified restaurant in Lexington, KY (terms and conditions of gift certificate apply).
Drawing #6:  winner will receive a $150 Mod Boutique gift certificate (terms and conditions of gift certificate apply).

 

Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prizes.  Limit one prize per person.

5.                  GENERAL RULES:

Potential Winners will be notified via email and will be required to respond and provide their complete name, street address, city, state, zip code and phone number within (7) days of attempted notification.  Failure to comply may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected.  Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected.  No substitution or transfer of prize by winner permitted.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value.  All taxes and fees (where applicable) are the sole responsibility of winner.  By accepting prize, winners (or parent/legal guardian if winner is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) agree to hold Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize.  Winners (or parent/legal guardian if winner is deemed a minor) assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize.  Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ names and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.  Entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is deemed a minor) agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless from and against any and all liability and damages.  By participating in this promotion, entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is deemed a minor) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the judges’ decisions which are final.  In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.  All material submitted becomes the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned.  Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prizes.  In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded.

ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  Not responsible for faulty, incorrect or mistranscribed phone/e-mail transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or experiencing any materials in connection with the promotion, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission that may limit a user’s ability to participate in the promotion.  Sponsor assumes no responsibility for undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering by a user’s Internet service provider and/or e-mail client or for insufficient space in user’s e-mail account to receive e-mail.  Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the promotion if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the program; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration or security of the program as determined by Sponsor/judging agency/administrator, in their sole discretion.  In the event of termination, the drawings will be conducted from among all eligible entries received prior to termination.  In the event a dispute arises regarding specific individual entitled to receive prize, entry made by e-mail will be declared made by the “authorized e-mail account holder”.  “Authorized e-mail account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.  Participant may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the participant is the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address associated with the account/submission.  Any damage made to the server will be the responsibility of the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry.  Proof of submitting entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor.  Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like methods of participation will void all such submissions by such methods.  Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual/account holder if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the individual/account holder fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules.

 

6.                  WINNERS: The names of the winners will be posted online periodically during the program at http://swashstyle.wordpress.com/2008/10/03/winnerswinners as winners are verified. The winners list will be posted through 1/12/09.

SWASH Street Teams Coming to Lexington

Be on the lookout for our SWASH street teams at your favorite bars in downtown Lexington in October and November on select Thursday nights! The street teams will be handing out samples to keep you looking your best that evening! And, if you end up staying out later than expected and find yourself in a rush the next morning with nothing to wear to the races, you’ve got SWASH on hand to get your clothes ready within minutes.  (That’s what we’re here for!)

The four available SWASH products are: Smooth It Out, a clothing dewrinkler spray; Fresh It Up, an Odor removal spray; Steam It Out, 10-minute dryer- sheets; and Get It Out, a stain removal pen that helps take out many fresh food and drink stains.
